Select your Carbon Sink
Identify and select your carbon sink, i.e. forest / wetland / marine area etc. Provide requested information package and geo-location of
the area to OXÏ-ZEN.
We perform an initial carbon absorption assessment using satellite data linked to Global Carbon Sink Model.

Prepare for Audit
Audit Protocol is executed by independent third party auditors in-situ. Auditor confirms various parameters, including legal ownership of carbon sink, physical carbon sink inventory, soil analysis and more.

Confirmation of CO2 Absorption Capacity
OXÏ-ZEN performs full CO2 carbon absorption analysis using latest peer-reviewed scientific methods, and provides data updates for Global Sink Model. Convertor receives OXÏ-Report with full details of analysis along with verified Carbon Sequestering capacity over previous 12 months.

Choose your Price
The verified carbon sequestration in metric tons of carbon is converted into GAYA. Convertor’s OXÏ-ZEN account is credited with GAYAs, opened for trade, and are now available for sale to Emitters on OXÏ-ZEN. Each Convertor chooses their own price of sale, guided by the current spot market price of carbon.

Generate Revenue
Convertor receives 95% of the sales price in USD for GAYAs sold to an Emitter.

Realize your SDG Program
These revenues can be directly used to realize the SDG Sustainable Development Goals of the Convertor, thus enabling the protection and enhancement of the natural carbon sinks, while improving the quality of lives with positive social impact.

Next 12-month cycle
At the end of 12 months, the next OXÏ Report is issued after a complete assessment and verification of the carbon sequestering capacity over the previous 12 months using GIS, satellite data and updated physical data based on inspections and revised audit. This Carbon Sequestering capacity is now available for sale over the next 12 months.
The 12-month monitoring and verification process starts as soon as the convertor is successfully on-boarded and opened for trade. New GAYAs are issued to the convertor and convertor can trade the new GAYA’s for the next 12 twelve months, which present the new and updated CO2 absorption capacity.
